SNOW WHITE

Its been a long time , since i sat alone and thought of writing a poem or think something just for myself. Today, just woke up in the morning, to see it all in white. Snowing in splendour, thats what it looks like. Its the southern part of north america, oklahoma -where i stay. it rarely snows here, and i have been dying to see it snow again.
Till this morning, when the snow made me wake up all in smiles. Not knowing what to do , tried to wake up my flat mate. Oh, she was busy sleeping, so called back home to convey the thrills.
Next, it was the bother. Going to class walking all the way wouldnt be that esay, since it was snowing heavily. So,a few hours later, when the snowing seemed to slow down, all ready for the day , covered up in everything possible clothing that i could think of, i treaded out. It was fun! trying to balance my self in all tht snowy road.Reached school, enjoying my walk, and filled with a child like fun. It kind of reminded me of the first time in Manali, in Himachal Pradesh (India), whne i saw the snow. It was so fascinating! It seemed the same right now.
So , after my class, while i wait to get a call, an appoinment for my newspaper interview being scheduled, i plan tp lounge round in the student faculty centre. Its one shock.....u have all indians here, you just look around and thts wht you see. Till you feel, oh my god- am back home!!! With all those surfing for my next due projects, one look through the huge glass windows and you know.......if you didnt take this in, oh how much would you miss it.
It's still snowing, flurries all the way and its beautiful , having not to feel the cold but only the beauty. This is what you want, the snowing all in sight, while you work like mad on your next paper.Or may be a take a little time off and see at the beaming range of students who are busy clicking pics to send back home with the snowman!!!Whatever it is, you do what you want to. Study or play,it still is going to snow all day!!!!!
